3/4 and Masters Team
The Natural Grocers Cycling Team supports both grassroots amateur racing through its Category 3/4 team, and veterans of the sport through its Master’s team. Both teams see regular success in the respective categories and serve to build awareness for the sport of cycling and healthy living.

What criteria for prospective member for Cat 3/4 for the 2012 season? Are group rides going on right now? Who can I contact? Thank you.
I will forward your email address from the comment to our 3/4 team manager and see if the roster for 2012 is full or not.
Hello,
I am looking to join in on some hard group rides in the area. I am a former cat 1 racer and after being away from racing since 2000 I’m getting back in shape and would like to take my training to a higher level with group rides on the weekends. Do y’all allow non-members to join your rides and if so, what are the times and starting places for weekend rides. My goal is to compete at the Master’s level once I am race fit again with an emphasis on road races and TT.
Thanks
Jonathan
I’m not sure we have any regular, formal group rides running right now, as it is racing season and most of the guys are off racing on the weekends.
There are a few very low key training races running at the moment, however:
(coloradocycling.org for more details)
In Niwot (NE of Boulder), there is the Ideal Market Series, 5pm almost all Wednesdays
– this mostly safe course has three turns and a mixed masters/juniors/Cat 4/5 race, but is very low key.
In Golden (S of Boulder), there is the CSP test track series, 6pm many Tuesdays
– this very safe course has a relatively mild 30+ open race.
You can probably google more info about the summer group rides at The Meridian and The Bustop Ride, but YMMV with those.
Good luck getting back to racing shape!
Hi,
I am somewhat newer to the sport but have been doing some group rides and I have yet to find a group that I am comfortable with. I am also looking into a team to start doing some racing. Do you have any group rides going during the winter? If so, I would love to check them out.
We’ve just updated our group rides for 2013.
Good luck this season!
